A short lesson on quartz....

Geology was one of my favorite courses in college and I can really geek-out when it comes to studying minerals, crystals, and anything to do with the earth’s topography. Like most people, I’ve heard about the healing properties of crystals but I’ve never studied that topic in depth.

Recently, I went to a short class on the different metaphysical properties of quartz. I was amazed at how varied quartz crystals can be and at how many “special properties” they can have. Being a novice on this topic, I’m not entirely sure how to “use” crystals with these different properties but following are some of the variations that I found most interesting:

Window

Window Crystal - A crystal with a diamond or rectangular face between the body and tip of a point is called window.  It is believed this crystal will open a "window to your soul" and help you get intuitive answers to questions and bypass the ego or intellect.  They are used for clarity and direction. If you are having problems and aren't sure why, a window crystal can be a good help. 

Time Line to the Past

Time Line to the Past - A crystal with a rectangular face leaning to the left.  It is believed they can be used to access information from the past. Time Lines to the Past are used as meditation crystals when the purpose of the mediation is to gain understanding of how actions, people, and relationships in our past are affecting our present and future. They aid in recall, and in understanding of how past elements of our lives make us what we are. They can help us find root causes, and deal with past slights, and injuries. If you seek a future that contains release from issues in the past, mediation with a Time Line to the Past crystal will focus your efforts and magnify your abilities.

Time Line to the Future

Time Line to the Future -A crystal with a rectangular face leaning to the right.  It is believed they can be used to access information from the future. A Time Line to the Future is a mediation crystal used in efforts to focus actions on a particular desired future state. These crystals contain the life force to see those desired future states clearly.  Time Lines to the Future help the user truly understand, visualize, and achieve their goals. These are not healing crystals, but are used in efforts to focus healing on specific outcomes that are desired. 

Record Keeper

Record Keeper - A crystal that has pyramidal or triangular shaped symbols that are either engraved into or are raised on one or more of a crystal faces is called a Record Keeper or Recorder.  These symbols are not easily seen and usually need to be searched out by looking at the crystal in a bright light while closely examining the faces. It is believed that the Record Keeper is one of the most sacred crystals because it holds the wisdom and knowledge of the universe.  When a person is properly attuned to a Record Keeper, this knowledge is readily made available. This knowledge is ancient knowledge and contains profound secrets and esoteric knowledge of the whole of the Higher consciousness.  It takes an open mind and a pure heart to access this knowledge. 

Isis

Isis Crystal - A crystal with a five-sided face is called an Isis crystal.  It is believed the Isis crystal will put you in touch with and strongly amplify your feminine energy, and can help you get in touch with the 'female' or unselfish side of yourself, no matter whether you are a man or a woman. Isis crystals put you in touch with the power of the Goddess. For men, the Isis crystal will help you become more in tune with your feminine side and to become more aware of the aspects of women that you may find troubling. For women, the Isis crystal will help you regain some of the power and energy that society has taken from you. 

Key

Key Crystal – The key crystal is recognized by a three or six-sided indentation somewhere on the crystal. It is believed the Key crystal can be used to unlock the doors to healing, help answer difficult questions, solve problems, and access information to that which is hidden.

Rainbow

Rainbow Crystal - A crystal with a rainbow(s) inside that is caused by light being refracted by the prismatic effect of a crack or inclusion is called a Rainbow.  The refraction is often temperature sensitive causing the rainbow to appear and disappear.  It is believed that these crystals exhibit the closest manifestation of pure white light that can be witnessed on the physical plane. Rainbow crystals are used during meditation to escort us into the realm of the pure white light and can bring depth and clarity to dreams, help manifest wishes, and overcome negativity to be able to love life in the present moment.

America's Stonehenge...

The Georgia Guidestones, sometimes called "America's Stonehenge", comprise a large granite monument in Elbert County, Georgia, USA. In June 1979, an unknown person or persons under the pseudonym R. C. Christian hired Elberton Granite Finishing Company to build the structure.

A message encompassing ten guides is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages (English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian), and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient languages' scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The guides are as follows:

1.    Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

2.    Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.

3.    Unite humanity with a living new language.

4.    Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.

5.    Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

6.    Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.

7.    Avoid petty laws and useless officials.

8.    Balance personal rights with social duties.

9.    Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.

10. Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

To this day, no one knows exactly who paid for and erected the controversial monument but it's on my list of "must see" destinations.

Mel's Hole. Bottomless healing pit?

Mel's Hole, Ellensburg, Washington. This nine-foot-wide bottomless hole on Mel Waters’s former property is awash in mystery. Waters reported sinking a fishing line some 15 miles into the pit in an attempt to find the bottom. He never found it. He also claimed the abyss would shoot black rays and could bring animals back to life; a neighbor tossed a dead dog into the hole only to have it return, alive, from out of the woods.

Vivian was doing aural body scans and/or reading angel cards. I chose angel cards. I was asked to think of one question that I wanted answered then pick a card. I didn’t really have a question, but concentrated on my “concerns” about our upcoming trip to Nepal. The card I chose was entitled “Play”. I guess that was a sign that I need to stop worrying about all the details and just anticipate having a great time.

Wanda is a native American healer and reiki master who worked on me at a past gathering of healers. She had me lie down on her massage table and proceeded to clear my aura and balance my chakras. She thought my heart chakra was a little out of whack – as a result of giving more than I allowed in – so she went to work on putting that back into balance. She also said I was blocking my third eye and crown chakras (Leann had said that during last month’s gathering… guess I didn’t learn my lesson) so she spent quite a bit of time clearing those as well. She mentioned that for some reason I was purposefully blocking money and prosperity from coming into my life.  She felt I had the ability to bring in tons of money but I wasn’t allowing it. She dropped prosperity symbols into my aura and told me to make sure I made a conscious effort to start allowing money into my life.  Note: after getting up from her table I was dizzy for several minutes. If there is such a thing a “real” energy healer, I think Wanda could be one.

Neil is a medium and reiki master.  After lying down on his massage table he asked me to relax and think of myself surrounded by a white column of light. He then proceeded to communicate with my angels and guides. He said the three guides that were there were very old and likened them to saints (a good thing).  There was a very tall, imposing angel at my right shoulder who he likened to a body guard. He asked me what the word “apex” meant to me. Not a word I frequently run across, I was a little stumped. He kept repeating the word and then said, “They say you’re afraid of the apex. What does that mean? Apex.”.  Immediately I thought “success”… I didn’t want to say this outloud but Neil kept pushing. I finally gave in. His response, “Exactly! You need to let that go! I see unlimited potential and tons of money but you’re the one stopping it.” Hmmmm, déjà vu. He instructed me stop worrying about money and accept that they (my guides and angels) had it under control. He then asked if I had experienced people abruptly leaving my life. Yes. He looked over my right shoulder and said, “it’s his fault.” (meaning my body guard angel). He explained that I had a tendency to try and keep people in my life even though I no longer needed them and even though they were no longer a positive influence. (OK, maybe sometimes.) Well, since I was stubborn and they (my guides and angels) couldn’t convince me to let go, my bodyguard was forced to remove the other person from my life. Neil then added, “You know, they couldn’t unplug you so they were forced to unplug him.” Strangely, this one sentence made total sense to me and explained a couple of questions that had been nagging me for decades. Maybe this guy is the “real deal” too….

Post Exorcism Changes, Part 1: Music

Although it’s only been three months, I feel like it’s been a lifetime since the “exorcism”. And although I’d like to forget my life prior, I know it’s important that I don’t. I’m still dumbfounded at how different I feel and how many of my “tastes” have changed.

I suppose it can be summed up in two words: black and white. My entire life used to be dark. Now I truly prefer the light.

We’ll start with music….

Just for the record: I was always a club kid at heart. I dressed conservatively, put a high price on manners and etiquette, went to a well respected college, and tried to always appear professional and “classy”… however, once the sun went down I loved nothing more than donning my Goth accoutrements and heading out to the back alley dance club. People who don’t really know me are always surprised when they see me at the gym or grocery store wearing a Rammstein t-shirt or when they bum a ride and are greeted by Marilyn Manson pumping through my mp3 player. The angrier and harder the music, the better. I always said, “I don’t just want to hear my music, I want to feel it too”. My ipod is filled with Metallica, Eisbrecher, KMFDM, NIN, Ministry, My Life the Trill Kill Kult, Megaherz, Oomph!, and of course my beloved Rammstein and Marilyn Manson. I may have looked like an upstanding all-American girl but just below the surface lay a kohl-eyed bad-ass who had no problem throwing you to the ground and not-so-politely showing you your place.  I often likened myself to a hyperactive child on Ritalin – listening to hard music (especially German metal) calmed my mind and actually relaxed me. Easy listening stations would drive me absolutely bonkers and I found it extremely difficult to focus if faced with “smooth jazz” and sappy ballads. I was never allowed to pick the station at work…

After the “exorcism” I quickly realized that when choosing morning drive time music I no longer wanted my old favorites. The music that previously underscored my life was now completely unappealing. Bewilderment ensued.

Many years ago my husband brought home a CD entitled “Tibetan Incantations”. I have no idea where it originally came from, it had been sitting unnoticed and unopened for quite some time. The entire CD consists of 3 songs, two of which are different versions of the same song. In the past this would have been the bane of my existence, but now I find it completely soothing.  Soon after the “incident” I popped it into my car’s CD player and it hasn’t left.  Aside from the occasional news station traffic check, it’s the only thing I listen to while driving. Every time my husband is in the car he has to say, “Still not tired of it?”

“Nope.”

The old songs are still on my ipod (I just can’t work out to Buddhist chants) but I no longer feel the same affinity for the messages behind the music.  In the beginning I would actually forward through many of the songs; I’ve stopped doing that but still have no interest in playing them anyplace but the gym.

It may not sound like much to anyone else but trust me, this was a huge change.

Believe what I say...

You expect me to believe what?

One of the hardest parts of my “encounter with evil” (I think that will be my new descriptive catch phrase) is the feeling of isolation that it has brought.  I’ve never been the kind of person who feels the need to discuss my feelings ad nauseum or even ask advice on personal problems – I just figured things out.  This, however, has been an entirely different story. Never having believed in evil, I have no real point of reference from which to try and analyze the situation.  

My husband was out of town on business the night of the “exorcism”. He called shortly before I went to bed that night and I jokingly told him about my experience.  I still hadn’t fully realized what had taken place… on some level I knew something significant had happened, but I had yet to fully realize the full spectrum of the events.  Although I couldn’t see him I knew he was sitting in his 5 star hotel room, wrapped in a cushy robe, munching on something out of the mini bar and rolling his eyes.  He’d always humored my interest in the paranormal, but absolutely did NOT believe any of it.

About a week later he questioned me and asked if I really believed I’d had a run in with a demon.  I said, “yes” and proceeded to tell him about everything I’d experienced since and all the huge differences I now saw in my life and personality. He sat looking concerned and finally said, “do you think you need to go talk to someone” – of course, by “someone” he meant a psychiatrist. I was a little hurt, but knew if the situation had been reversed I would reacted in the same way. In the following weeks he began cracking jokes and making light of the situation – this I wasn’t able to ignore.  My husband and I have a great relationship and RARELY even disagree but when he started poking fun at this I immediately whirled around and told him to NEVER, EVER joke about it again. I knew he didn’t believe me (and I didn’t blame him) but I wouldn’t put up with him making fun of it.  His eyes were wide and his mouth open – I think for the first time he realized that I was actually serious about what had happened. He now agreed that something traumatic had occurred, but he wasn’t able to wrap his mind around the possibility of it involving a demonic force.

Now he’ll occasionally ask me if I’ve had any more nightmares or feel scared but that’s as far as it goes. I truly do understand his disbelief, six months ago I was biggest non-believer around, but I also long for someone to confide in…

The Miracle Man of Brazil

João Teixeira de Faria ("John of God")

I first heard about John of God several months ago while watching an Oprah special featuring Wayne Dyer (don’t judge me… I honestly never watch Oprah and only stopped while browsing the DirecTV guide because I saw Wayne Dyer was the guest).  Dr. Dyer was recalling his diagnosis of leukemia and the unconventional mode of treatment that he chose to pursue – contacting a self-described medium and “psychic surgeon” from Brazil named João Teixeira de Faria, better known as João de Deus ("John of God").

To very briefly paraphrase Dr. Dyer’s experience: He had a friend (a medical doctor) travel to the Brazilian town of Abadiania where John of God lives and works. She carried a photograph of Dr. Dyer (dressed in white) to the healer who then used Dr. Dyer’s photograph as the vehicle for performing his surgery. During this entire process Dr. Dyer was at his home in Maui, John of God in southwestern Brazil. The final outcome… Dr. Dyer was “miraculously” cured of his leukemia.

João de Deus has no medical training, describes himself as a “simple farmer”, claims to act as a vehicle for God's healing, and to have absolutely no recollection of anything during the procedures. "I do not cure anybody. God heals, and in his infinite goodness permits the Entities to heal and console my brothers. I am merely an instrument in God's divine hands". Millions of people have consulted with de Faria since 1965; up to 3,000 per day stand and wait in line to see him individually. De Faria has been arrested several times for practicing medicine without a license and has been jailed once.

Having no personal experience with the man or his methods, I can’t vouch for his abilities. I do, however, find the possibility of receiving this kind of healing to be fascinating.

An email message from the High Council...

I just received an email concerning the recent solar eclipse. I don’t know the original sender, Lauren Carolyn Gorgo, but apparently she is “a conscious co-creation coach, intuitive, healer, teacher, inter-dimensional telepath, writer, designer & onlinepreneur”  and creator of the website thinkwithyourheart.com.  The email was sent from a woman I met at a recent class on meditation and concerns a message sent from the Pleiadian High Council.  I don’t know much about the Pleiadians… but, back in 1994 I had a brief encounter with a man who gave me the book “Bringers of the Dawn” which is supposedly a collection of teachings from the Pleiadians. I had forgotten about the book until just recently and am in the process of reading it now. Following is the body of the email:

I received the following message from the Pleiadian High Council regarding the solar eclipse:
“Mark your calendar.  Today you enter the beginning phase of ascended mastery. Let us be more clear….Ascended mastery begins with your consciousness, ends with your biology.  By that we mean that first you were required to break through to new levels or dimensions of thought, which became your new way of seeing & understanding reality, which became your new way of BEing, which became your new level consciousness…your state of self-awareness…which then altered your DNA and now…your biology.

This alteration, what we have called the transposition, begins now.  The solar eclipse is set to trigger the release of the karmic body template, that which was designed to uphold your life in duality.  The ascended template, the christ blueprint, is designed to uphold, to contain your mastery.  This switch, the transposition of karmic to christed template, enables the transfiguration of form…the true mark of the christ.

Today, you become the masters of your fate. Masuru Emoto and the secret world of water...

Truth 

In 2004 when the documentary “What The Bleep Do We Know” came out, I was fascinated by the segment involving Masuru Emoto’s work with water crystals.
 
Emoto claimed that human consciousness could affect the molecular structure of water and even went so far as to say that polluted water could be restored through prayer and positive visualization.

His experiments involved photographing water crystals after various words, affirmations, prayers, or pictures were “shown” or directed at water. Needless-to-say his experiments have been labeled as pseudoscience by many professionals. I don’t have the authority to validate his work but I do find it fascinating.

When my “demon” refused to move on I sought help from people I considered “experts”. Aside from a house cleansing and standing my ground, demanding it leave, they suggested I bury Selenite in the four corners of my yard and then keep some inside my house.

I feared my neighbors would come by asking what new weed killer I was using when I went out to bury these small milky pieces of crystal in strategic places in my yard (just the week before they had watched, puzzled, as I’d sprinkled Kosher rock salt around the perimeter of our house). Fortunately, not questions were asked.

I also keep 2 large pieces on the window sill in our kitchen. More than anything I like the way they look – if they actually help dispel evil, all the better.  I’ve never been a believer in the “power” of crystals; however, since my recent encounter I don’t discount anything… having them around can’t hurt.

A large area of mostly unexplored sub-arctic wasteland and coniferous forest called the Siberian taiga lies just south of the arctic tundra. One particular area is said to contain strange dome shaped objects or iron houses half buried in the permafrost. Local legends associate the domes with the ancient demons of the taiga and the local inhabitants tell tales of the odd effects they have on wildlife and people. An unknown illness which kills those who stay too long caused the local tribes to call the place 'Uliuiu Cherkechekh' The valley of death.

Suicide Forest

Aokigahara Forest, Japan. Aokigahara Forest, also known as "the Sea of Trees" and "Suicide Forest", is a forest that lies at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan. The forest contains a number of rocky, icy caverns, a few of which are popular tourist destinations. The forest, which has a historic association with demons in Japanese mythology, is a popular place for suicides; in 2002, 78 bodies were found, despite numerous signs, in Japanese and English, urging people to reconsider their actions. Due to the wind-blocking density of the trees, and an absence of wildlife, the forest is known for being eerily quiet. The forest is the world's second most popular suicide location after San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.

This was my first time back since the “exorcism”.  I decided to try three of the featured healers.

Brian specialized in Reiki and spent 10 minutes standing behind me with his hands on my shoulders. I assume he was directing positive energy into my body… He talked to me the entire time and ended by saying that I needed to see a chiropractor because my neck was “jacked up”.

My second healer was Leann. Her specialty: energy work. Utilizing crystals and her own energy she works to clear out any negativity or blockages in your energy field and aura. She was “professional”, polished, and quite friendly.  I stretched out on her massage table and she proceeded to start my aural cleansing. She told me that my energy was very light and airy, a nice change from the heaviness she’d been encountering in the men she’d worked on earlier in the evening. She spent a lot of time focusing on my sacral chakra (lots of blockages there). She asked if I wanted children… definitely not. Her brows furrowed a bit and she continued on to my heart chakra. 

When she got to my crown chakra she let me know that it was very cold; she was going to work on opening it so I could better connect with spirit. That task turned out to be more difficult than she’d anticipated; she immediately started trying figuring out why she couldn’t get the energy flowing. She picked up my left hand, placed her right hand about 3 inches directly above it, paused for a few seconds, then nodded and said, “OK, that’s why. You’re psychic. You need to stop blocking your gifts. Are you a healer?”

“No.”

“You can be if you want. I’m going to open your crown chakra so you’ll be more open to that option.”

When she was satisfied that my 7^th chakra was open and ready to receive energy she went back to working on my sacral chakra. After a few more minutes she made one final sweep of my energy field (just to check her work), then finished up.

When I sat up I asked her why she questioned me about wanting children. She smiled and said that there were several little souls waiting on the other side in case I changed my mind. I assured her that I wouldn’t. “It’s not too late,” she smiled almost slyly. NOT GOOD! Not good at all….

The last healer I chose was Marsha. She also did energy work. She studied Reiki but had developed her own modality that incorporated many different studies. My tennis elbow has been acting up so I asked her to work on it. She sat down next to me, wrapped her hands gently around my elbow, closed her eyes and got to work. After about a minute my elbow grew slightly cold, but I didn’t say anything (I expected heat).  A few seconds later she asked if I could feel anything cool in my elbow – my guides had told her that there was inflammation at the sight and that she needed to send blue, cooling energy to help soothe the pain.

Hmmmm.

She was also told that I needed to sleep with my arm in a different position – my current sleeping posture wasn’t helping. I would try, but couldn’t guarantee anything.

As she released my arm she laughed and told me that my guides were very funny – apparently they enjoying dancing and were hopping around joyfully as she was working with them. OK, maybe that’s why I dance whenever possible…

The ancient art of burning sage...

I love the smell of burning sage. From the first whiff I was hooked. It’s one of those powerful scents that immediately transports me to a place filled with warmth and peace.  I have no present life memory connected with its smell but on some deep inner level I find it very soothing.

I first learned about its cleansing properties from a Shaman named Bobby Sanchez. I was attending his class on Shamanism and one night he conducted an introduction to vision quests, starting the meditation by cleansing each of us with sage.  

Using sage to cleanse a space or person is known as Smudging. In a Native American smudging ritual sage is used to purify and balance the aura or energy of a person, place or object. When lit, a bundle of densely packed dried sage leaves produces a plume of smoke that can be fanned over the subject to help cleanse it of any unwanted negative energy.

I now make sure to always keep several bundles of sage on hand. When I’ve had a particularly frustrating week and feel the need for some deep relaxation or meditation I like to place some dried sage leaves in a porcelain bowl, light them and then let the smoke waft around me. The smell almost instantly calms my mind and releasing pent up frustration becomes quite easy.

Supernatural Science in Florida

In the heart of Miami is an amazing structure known as the Coral Castle. Ed Leedskalnin spent 28 years, 1923 – 1951, building this stone edifice out of 1,100 tons of coral stone. Working alone, and mostly at night, Ed built his castle using only simple homemade tools.

Like the pyramids of Egypt, scientists are still stumped at how Mr. Leedskalnin was able to accomplish this feat.

The Mozart Effect

The Mozart effect can refer to:

• A set of research results that indicate that listening to Mozart’s music may induce a short-term improvement on the performance of certain kinds of mental tasks known as “spatial-temporal reasoning;”
• Popularized versions of the hypothesis, which suggest that "listening to Mozart makes you smarter", or that early childhood exposure to classical music has a beneficial effect on mental development;
• A US trademark for a set of commercial recordings and related materials, which are claimed to harness the effect for a variety of purposes. The trademark owner, Don Campbell, Inc. claims benefits far beyond improving spatio-temporal reasoning or raising intelligence, defining the mark as "an inclusive term signifying the transformational powers of music in health, education, and well-being."

The term was first coined by Alfred A. Tomatis who used Mozart's music as the listening stimulus in his work attempting to cure a variety of disorders. The approach has been popularized in a book by Don Campbell, and is based on an experiment published in Nature suggesting that listening to Mozart temporarily boosted scores on one portion of the IQ test. As a result, the Governor of Georgia, Zell Miller, proposed a budget to provide every child born in Georgia with a CD of classical music.

Everyone knows that Mozart was a genius. But could his talent go beyond just writing beautiful music? Was he somehow guided to create music that is mathematically complex and that somehow triggers and inspires our brains in unseen ways?

An easy way to protect yourself in your daily life is to ask to be surrounded by the white light of the Holy Spirit!

Envision the image of the Good Witch of the North from The Wizard of Oz. She traveled from one place to another inside a beautiful transparent bubble. Try traveling through your day and night that same way, inside a bubble made of the glowing, transparent white light of the Holy Spirit.

Here's another moment from the movie you can borrow that will help you keep dark or negative energy at bay... When Glenda is confronted by the Wicked Witch of the West, she waves at her dismissively and says, "You have no power here. Be gone with you." Project that thought to anyone or anything around you that you suspect is dark, negative or evil. You’ll be amazed at how effective it is in reminding you of your power.

This simple home cleansing/blessing was given to me by a very kind and gifted man. It proved a powerful tool in dispelling my own demons.

Supplies:

• Course Kosher Salt (most grocery stores sell this)
• Holy Water (you can get this at a catholic church or use the method below)
• White Candle (any inexpensive small white candle is fine)
• St. Benedict Medal (you can get these online, from a catholic gift shop or Botanica)

Preparation:

• Before you start the cleansing say a simple blessing over the salt. Something like, “I Bless and Empower this salt from the earth to both Bless and Protect my home, my family and all whom I love. So It Is, Amen.”
• If you don’t have Holy Water you can make your own.  Just as you did the salt, take your water and say a simple blessing over it, "The Spirit of the Living GOD is within this Water, may it Nourish, Cleanse and Bless this Space."  Placing it in a spray bottle is a very easy way of using it.
• Protect yourself before you begin.  Make sure you have a St. Benedict medal with you, take a moment and surround yourself in the Light and Protection of SPIRIT and ask GOD to protect you with a Special Angelic Guard as you move through your home.
• Make sure to open as many doors and windows as you can.

Blessing:

• After your salt is Blessed simply sprinkle it around the exterior of your home. While doing this imagine the salt completely blocking and dispelling any evil that might try entering.
• From inside, make sure as many doors and windows as possible are open, start at one end of your home and work towards the open doors.  Light the candle, get the Holy Water and go to each corner of each room and say, “I Bless this Space in the name of the Living GOD, only those in Divine LOVE and LIGHT may stay, all others must go now!"  Hold up the candle and spray each area with Holy Water as you go.
• Continue this until you have Blessed each corner of each room.
• Closets, bathrooms and such are your call - if in doubt, ask GOD to lead you as needed.
• Once you have Blessed the final area, CLOSE the Doors and Windows.
• Blow out your candle, put it in a trash bag and take to a dumpster somewhere FAR away from you.

You can do this as often as you feel the need. When I first performed this cleansing I also put a small St. Benedict medal in each corner of my home.  If you still feel the presence of negativity you may need to seek the help of someone experienced in home blessings and cleansings.

If you fear something negative is present in your home it can be hard to hold a positive thought while doing the cleansing – but TRY! As you go through each room speak with authority and power, truly believing that you’re forcing out anything negative. It makes a difference in how you feel and helps you truly take back your space.
